Finishing Touches

It was just this past week
that our kitchen was complete.
After waiting and waiting and
running to the basement for water
to make coffee in the morning
our counters arrived.
Within a day
they were joined by the
sink and dishwasher
hooked up by our
grouchy plumber.

I spent the weekend cooking.
I'm smitten.

Smitten by the grouchy plumber? I don't wonder plumbers are so grouchy - I think I would be too if I was a plumber ... :) Seriously - I am so glad for you that you have a kitchen - enjoy!

I'm totally jealous of the kitchen. Ours is about 20 years old--the original that came with the house. I'm living vicarious through you and your lovely countertops!
